The foam is great and I could not find any after-market foam that looked to be of the same quality. That said, I wish they would allow the purchase of just the top piece (thay you cut) for a cheaper price instead of having to buy then entire set of 4 pieces for $100. It would be nice to have a few different top pieces that are set up for different needs.
Makes storage and transport of swords, both European and Japanese, a lot easier.
I stumbled upon the Nanuk hard cases (and foam) when I was at a local gun store and love it. The hard cases are incredible and very well made. Personally, the locks are better than Pelicans and engineered very well. The cushions inside are very stiff, well made and and does a great job at protecting my firearms during transport. Highly recommended!
As I acquire more astrophotography equipment, I sometimes find it necessary to re-purpose an existing Nanuk case. As a result, I need new foam inserts to do so.
Box is fine. Liner foam sold with it does not fit well. The company will email repeatedly for a review, even after you have given one.
Easiest and best decision I have made in a long time! The foam fits an older Nanuk case that was surplus but in excellent condition. I think the foam cost about $25 plus shipping and now i have an AWESOME case to carry whatever gear i want.
Room for the power supply
They fit perfect and we’re easy to shape.
I did a real hack job on the foam that came with my 990 rifle case, so I got the replacement foam set. First, use the right tool to cut the foam… that would be a very very sharp blade. Do not use an electric carving knife that is shown on many YTube videos. Sharp, sharp like a scalpel. I recommend a Havalon knife available at a lot of places, but I got mine thru Amazon. That knife, with replacement blades worked like a charm. Best of luck with your foam cutting.
Needed to rearrange meters and analyzers in a 910 case. Therefore needed a new foam insert. Ordered one, it came quickly and I was able to reload equipment quickly.
