Great case...not so great foam

The case is perfect and I love it, however the foam is very difficult to work with to do a nice job. The little pre cut squares on the foam are not pluckable in a nice way, the user must use a blade and it is very difficult to do a nice job. The result is : from the outs it looks professional, when you open and look at the foam it looks like a cheap solution. Look at the Pelican foam, they are easy to pluck and the result is a 100 times better. I have many pelican cases, this was my first Nanuk and I will probably stay with Pelican in the future, just for the foam. Support sent me replacement foams, thank you for that, but they were exactly like the original one.

Every bit as sturdy as the competition

I purchased 2 Hard Cases in preparation for for some overland camping. They arrived quickly in spite of cross border shipping challenges. On inspection, I was impressed with the build quality. The latches are very robust. Wall construction is stout. I am looking forward to kitting them to carry galley supplies and provisions.

Just what was needed for the job

I needed a large dependable case to transport my DIT gear to and from set. Not the everyday items but the gear that you need to have with you for those just-in-case moments that are the difference between a successful shoot or not. I've used Nanuk cases for years and they have always been up to the challenges I've put them through. So it really was a no brainer on what case was going to fulfill this job. The Nanuk 965 has been the perfect addition to our on-location gear.

This case was a little bigger than I expected but it is perfect for what I need. I ordered this because I needed something bigger than the 935 (which I also love) and this is definitely bigger than that :). The folks at HardCases went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I will most certainly be ordering another case soon

Great case, solid construction.

I have used it on two shoots so far. It allows me to have my grip and lighting gear all in one place. The handles are sturdy and comfortable. The wheels are smooth as butter.
Now to hire an assistant to bring it out of my basement every shoot, because I have loaded it with so many things.
I love that it’s made in Canada!

originally i had bought a nanuk 965 but when i received it wss bigger than i expected. i contacted customer service and Anthony assisted me. he took the time to compare the cases and find a reasonable case for the equipment that i have. i went to their office to exchange the cases and everybody there was so friendly. im not only proud to encourage a local business but also that the employees are just as amazing as their products! thanks again!
