Nanuk 945 DJI Phantom Video Review

Hey guys, this is David from hard Cases, let me show you the Nanuk 945 for the DJI Phantom.

We've been selling alot of these cases in the last two years. It's a big case as you can see. You can travel with this on your shoulder if you want.

We have shoulder strap attachment on the front right here They're stainless steel rods right here, you can buy a shoulder strap. I would seriously consider a shoulder strap.

I used to have this with me and you know, handling it with lots of batteries in there with the drones and all the accessories can be quite oainful if you have to walk further away from your ar or wherever you are taking this case.

Nanuk 945 DJI Phantom Power Latches

You have four power claw latches on these case. Two on the sides here and two on the front. They are the Nanuk Power Claws. Like it's push down and pull up system. So these clamps wont open if the cases drop on the ground and you wont snap your fingers trying to close them up either.

And you can also buy our new TSA power claws and install them on this case also. I would also consider two in the front if you are travelling with this case. It would be very nice because you just have to keep your keys with you and TSA agents can open the case if they have to check inside.

Let's open it up. As you can see, there's a custom foam made for the DJI phantom. This foam is actually made for the phantom four, three and two. And if you have phantom 4 pro, its also gonna fit in there.

We have a phantom 3 in there. So you'll be using the rows for the top if you have a phantom 3 for the batteries. So you can fit four batteries in the top plus one in the drone, so that means you have five batteries total in there.

And you can also use other spots for batteries if you want to but like specifically they're made here. You have four in the front if you have phantom 4 and one on the drone, again five batteries.

You can also remove these foams here in the middle in the back so that you can have bigger cavities for other batteries or other accessories that you wanna carry. There's a slot for the ipad mini in the back. You can put a phone in there if you want, but its big enough for an iPad Mini.

On the side here you have extra cavities for your prop guards. You also can put your chargers in there. You have a remote on this side. There is an extra foam piece here if your remote is a different one than this one like a phantom 4 remote. It's gonna take a bit more space so you can easily pull this out.

As you can see like the drone has the props on so you can leave the props on the drone in this case. You just have to pull these tabs a little bit if you don't wanna the props to move back and fort inside the case. So you just pull these out, leave the props in like this and it fits nicely and its ready to go.

You'll see that for the phantom 3, we have an extra cubed foam here so you can put your gimbal in there instead of keeping that plastic gimbal that's kind of awkward on the phantom 3. If you have the phantom 4, I think the gimbal is pretty cool so you wont need that foam in here.

You can throw it away or keep it for the future if you ever want to resell the case. The foam is actually made so that it fits all around the case as you can see. It's gonna hide all these little holes that we have for the bezel kits that we sell. It's really thick, solid foam here and it will last for years.

Those cases have a lifetime warranty so if ever you have a problem with the latch or something else, you'll let us know and we'll be happy to send you new latches. You can change them easily. But I can guarantee you that this is gonna follow you pretty much for the rest of your life until you sell it or give it away. If you have any questions, you can get in touch with me.
